Lunch and Learn Series - Click to Request A Recipe

      This is a series of classes for people who have chronic kidney disease (CKD), their friends and family members, as well as, people interested in learning more about organ donation and paired kidney exchange.

  • Eat Well to Live Well: Free - NO CHARGE

    Taught by a dietitian, this class offers you a free lunch and tasty recipes that  promote a healthy lifestyle and make a kidney-friendly diet easy for the whole family to follow.

    • What You’ll Get:

      • A complete meal of the prepared recipes for lunch

      • NW Kidney Center's "Saltless in Seattle” cookbook that includes kidney, hypertension, diabetes and obesity-friendly recipes

    • What You'll Learn:

      • The nutritional content and the target audience of selected recipes

      • How much and how often to eat and how to prepare healthy, tasty recipes

  • OUI Works Virtual Luncheon

    Each month OUI Works Calendar will host a virtual luncheon using a recipe, courtesy of the Northwest Kidney Centers.  You will be asked to make the recipe and share the results, via the OUIWorks blog, with other virtual attendees.

    • What You’ll Get:

      • A free recipe to prepare for lunch or dinner

      • Guidance on the nutritional content and target audience(s) of each recipe

    • What You'll Learn:

      • How to make healthy,cost-effective recipes that are fast and easy to make, and most, importantly, support your lifestyle and dietary needs.

  • Brown Bag Luncheon

    OUI Works offers an inexpensive opportunity to become engaged, network with other interested parties, hear an interesting presentation and take part in the discussion through an ongoing series of Brown Bag lunches. The Brown Bag Lunch Series addresses important topics, issues and trends related to kidney disease, transplants and living donors.

    The format is simple and inexpensive. Bring your own lunch and join a conference call or webinar to participate in a high impact, informational presentation.
